Portality II is based a dialog between mother earth and humanity. It explores our planet as a mortal living being that has now become fractured and damaged. The circular negative space acts as a gateway between what is and what could be in the future. Dark blue and green tones capture the depth and movement of the ocean waves. 

One side is smooth, calm and flowing, while the other side is rough and dramatic with a fragmented stone-line quality. The artist's signature technique of glass working blends casting methods and lamination principles with modern glass fusing materials. This work is cold finished with sharp bevels and multiple polished surfaces.
