Cast Glass Sculpture

Space can be both vivid and vast. With spiraling colors and a mysterious void, this work is inspired by a nebula in space. This piece reflects two distinct sides that each have a unique texture. The front is smooth, shiny and crisp, while the back side possesse a rough stone-line quality. The artist's signature technique of glass expression blends casting methods and lamination principles with modern glass fusing materials. This work is finished with sharp bevels and multiple cold polished surfaces.
